Repo! The Genetic Opera: Repo The Genetic Opera! is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, of Saw II, III, and IV, and is written by first-time writers Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich. The film stars Alexa Vega, Paul Sorvino, Paris Hilton, Nivek Ogre, and Sarah Brightman and features musical contributions from Richard Patrick (Filter), Steven Perkins (Jane's Addiction), Clown (Slipknot), Richard Fortus (Guns & Roses), Sonny Moore (First to Last), Blasko (Ozzy Osbourne), and Tommy Clefetus (Rob Zombie). Repo! The Genetic Opera is currently set to arrive in limited theaters starting on November 7th this fall.
Soul Men: Soul Men is directed by Malcolm D. Lee, of Undercover Brother and Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins previously. The screenplay was penned by writing team Robert Ramsey and Matthew Stone, of Life, Intolerable Cruelty, and Man of the House previously. The Weinstein Company is releasing Soul Men in theaters everywhere on November 7th later this year.
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (Limited): The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is both written and directed by English filmmaker Mark Herman, of Brassed Off, Little Voice, Purely Belter, and Hope Springs previously. The film is based on the book of the same name written by John Boyne. Miramax will be releasing this in theaters starting on November 7th.
JCVD (Limited): JCVD is directed by Brazilian filmmaker Mabrouk El Mechri, of a few French short films previously. The screenplay was co-written by El Mechri, Frédéric Bénudis and Christophe Turpin. This first premiered during Cannes this year and later went on to show at the Toronto Film Festival. Peace Arch Entertainment is releasing JCVD in limited theaters starting on November 7th this year.
