Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a sequel to 'Madagascar' released in the year 2005, which earned its way to the top both in the books of critics and audience, earning a fortune at the box office. The animated sequel to the previous one too lives up to our expectations and delivers a punch, right from the onset. A must watch for children from age 5 to 65, Madagascar Escape 2 Africa is a fun-filled ride into the world of animals. This time all the New York Zoo animals, which includes Alex the lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo are still waiting for a rescue to come to their way. Isolated on the island , Madagascar (where the last film finished), the estranged New York citizens are now on their way back to their native place, but the question is HOW? With a committed intent fused with a disciplined effort, they finally manage to pull of a escape, not to New York but to remote plains of Africa where they come vis-a-vis to their creatures of their own kind.
Somehow, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa comes out as better film spectacle then its earlier part and the other latest Hollywood movies. The script in this part looks compact and at the same time is free from any kind of loop-holes if any. The animated characters of our favorite animals have done quite a decent job. As far as the voice-over goes, then it is perfectly flawless. A fun-filled and roller-coaster ride, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa brings smiles to our faces, once it ends. But the best part of the film is where they participate into a task to repair an old crashed airplane. The methodology vested into the preparation of escape from the Madagascar island is completely amazing. The precision displayed by the animals in the formulation is simply marvelous . However, the film raises a big question in its run, which is that whether the animals are safer in a natural habitats or in man-made sanctuaries. Overall, it is movie that excels as a silver screen venture. A better offering then the last one, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is definitely a treat to watch.
