KAMINEY- Latest Bollywood Movie Review

One of the upcoming Bollywood movie is 'Kaminey', the latest directorial venture of Vishal Bharadwaj, which is attracting a lot of attention from the word go. The movie, virtually has all the 'firsts' to it's credit. Especially, because of it's title, which is a first time for a Bollywood movie. Then, it stars Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in a romantic lead, for the first time as well. Shahid, the current flavor of Bollywood, too plays a double role in the movie for the first time in his entire career. He plays the character of two identical twins-Charlie and Guddu who are completely opposite of each other in terms of nature and aspirations of life. While the former is a street smart who indulges in betting on race courses to earn quick bucks, the latter is works as trainee in a NGO firm and wants to lead a respectable life. He is in love with Sweety played by one of the most successful actresses of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra. Amol Gupte, who plays a small time gangster called 'Bhope Bhau'. The cast also has Deb Mukherjee, Rajatva Dutta, 'Chandan Roy Sanyal', Carlos Paca, Tenzing Nima, Hrishikesh Joshi among others. The story takes a dramatic turn when Guddu comes to know that Sweety had unintentionally put a price on his head. It is a roller coaster ride for all the characters and hoe the two brothers are trying hard to put things in place in the world of gangsters and the underworld.

Vishal Bharadwaj, known to reveal the dark side of human nature almost in all of his films, this movie too does not lack behind in doing so. 'Kaminey' seems to be a one man show. As the director, Vishal Bharadwaj, has also given music of the film, which is already gaining popularity among the masses. He has also co-written the screenplay and written the dialogues and the story of the film as well.
