Day breakers

Day breakers is an upcoming Hollywood movie, which is directed by the famous brothers Michael and Peter Spierig, who have also penned down this action flick. This movie is slated to surface the box office on 8th January 2010 and stars Ethan Hawke, Isabel Lucas, and Sam Neil in pivotal roles. Its a futuristic film which is set in the year 2019 and is based on the transformation of people to vampires through a plague.

The story would witness a new turn altogether when the journey of Vampires will start, who are on the mission to find to humans for the continuation of their existence. This is the story of Edward Alton, played by Ethan Hawke. He is a vampire researcher who wants to save humanity and how he encounters with other characters to achieve his objective.

Other than the lead actors, supporting cast of the movie is also quite impressive, which includes Claudia Carvan and Vince Colosimo. Although this film is yet to be released but it has received a very good response at the screening of Toronto International film festival. This film is definitely going to get a very good response because of an interesting storyline and a well defined backdrop. Both these ingredients will help the viewer to understand the the film better .

Since it is the presentation of Chris Brown, Sean Furst and Bryan Furst, therefore expectations are bound to prop in. Other than releasing on 8th January in Canada and US, Day breakers will encounter the box office on 6th and 21st January in UK and Australia. An impressive starcast, a good banner, special effects makes the Day breaker among the most highly anticipated Upcoming Hollywood movies. It would be easier for this film to recover money at the box office because it has been on a very small budget. Although it has an interesting storyline but still, being a futuristic action drama can be a limitation because audiences have recently witnessed one in form of 2012.

The script and screenplay of the film cannot be judged at this point of time but still the technical department will definitely receive a thumbs up. One can reach this conclusion by even going through the promos where an excellent job by Cinematographer Ben Nott can be witnessed. Among all the Hollywood new releases this one should not be missed.
