Youth In Revolt

'Youth In Revolt' is upcoming Hollywood movie and will hit the theater with the onset of new year, 8th January 2010. It is a romantic drama comedy, based on the C.D. Payne's epistolary novel of the same name. This 90 minutes Hollywood new release is directed by Miguel Arteta and written by Gustin Nash and C. D. Payne. The movie is rated 'R' for the audiences because of its sexual content, language and usage of drugs on screen.

The movie has huge star cast including- Michael Sera (Nick Twisp and Francois Dillinger), newcomer Portia Doubleday (Sheeni Saunders), Jean Smart (Estelle Twisp), Zach Galifiaakis (Jerry), Erik Knudsen (Lefty), Fred Willard, Mary Kay Place, Ari Graynor, Tricia Mara, Jonny Wright, Rooney Mara and many more. 'Youth in Revolt' is the irreverent story about the wild adventures of a teenage boy who meets the girl of his dreams while on a family vacation and has to turn his life and the lives of all those around him upside down in order to be with her.





Story of this Hollywood new release revolves around a 16-year-old sex-obsessed boy Nick Twisp, who met Sheeni Saunders while on the vacations to trailer park. The only hurdle in his way was Sheeni's poetry writing ex-boyfriend Trent, his divorced parent and his mother's boyfriend. When Nick got to know that the girl is not interested, he comes up with an alter-ego, named Francois, who resembles Nick, but has blue eyes, a mustache, a deeper voice, and a player/bad boy attitude to help him with his pursuit of Sheeni. But when Francois ends up making Nick a wanted criminal, everything spins out of control.

Many portions of the film were filmed in Michigan including Ann Arbor, Brighton, Detroit, Ferndale, Frankfort, Hazel Park, Interlochen State Park, Lake Leelanau, MadisonHeights, South Lyon, Rochester, Royal Oak, Traverse City and Wixom. This upcoming Hollywood movies was premiered at the 2009 'Toronto International Film Festival' on September 15, 2009.
