Deepika and Anushka have something common to share

When Aditya Chopra's 'Rab ne bana di jodi' will hit the screen this December, all eyes will be on Anushka Sharma, an upcoming starlet from the Capital of country, Delhi. However, both Anushka Sharma & Deepika Padukone have one thing in common and that is not their tall frame supporting a gorgeous body. Think, think, take a hint, it is not even 'Shahrukh Khan', who starred opposite them in their Bollywood debut. Well, it is none other than the ace designer, Wendell Rodericks. Rodericks first spotted Anushka in Bangalore, where she was walking the ramp for a jeans store. Recognising her talent, Wendell wasted no time and took her to the 'City of dreams', Mumbai. After setting the ramp on fire in Las Vemps show in the Lakme India Fashion Week, Anushka never looked back and carved a niche for herself in no time, from there on it is a fairy tale that actually came true.



Deepika Padukone, too, has been the find of the same person. Within no time, Deepika rocketed to pinnacle of success when she made a debut with Shahrukh Khan in Farah Khan's directed 'Om Shanti Om'. Rodericks who himself is a very big name in the fashion circuit has certainly displayed his knack of picking up extremely potentially-rich candidates for his fashion shows. Although both Deepika and Anushka have got a dream debut but it still remains to be seen whether they will go on to establish themselves as true stars. Till now, Deepika has only two flicks under her belt, 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' . While 'Om Shanti Om' hit the bull's eye at the Box office, 'Bachna Ae Haseeno' too performed decently enough to be called a 'hit'. However, both of the films did not fetched her the attention she wanted. Come New year and she will be seen playing a role of Chinese girl in the Akshay Kumar starrer 'Chandni Chowk to China', where she will be aligning shoulders with the 'Khiladi Kumar' and will be seen performing some dare-devil stunts.

While Anushka, on the other hand, is preferring to play a hide and seek game with the media (may be that can be a part of Aditya Chopra's promotional strategy) and till hasn't come vis-a-vis with the any of the media person, adding mystical feeling to her personality. However, since they are the finding of the same person, comparison will be inevitable and thus, it remains to be seen who finally wins the race that ends at the point of super-stardom.
