Pete Docter's new animated flick, UP is rocking the floor as it is the first animated movie to open in the Cannes Film festival. UP is critically appreciated movie, which is also being liked by jury members. UP is a kind of movie which can be loved by any age of generation .This movie is an adventurous in genre with the use of color, proportion, scale, contrasts, and balance, these are factors which are featured by the application of 3D, in this a 3D based movie.
The story of the movie is based on an adventurous old man and a young boy, a flying house, a giant bird called Kevin and varied 'talking' dogs who are very funny. One can have a wonderful experience to watch this animated flick. This movie is full of lovely visual gags,but if you go indepth, movie is thoughtful and meaningful. At the same time movie is very touching and painful too.
UP is basically a 3D based film. The use of colors in this animated movie is appreciable, with different palettes used depending upon mood ,character and phase of the story. Not only this, voice over of characters, and music have done wonders throughout the movie. In any animation film character voice, sound effects play an important role which while making this movie, has kept in mind and UP team including everybody from director, voice over artists, characters have given their best.

It's a general thinking that animated films can't cheer and entertain people while on the other hand, commercial movies like emotional, comedy though make no sence but appreciated. After watching this movie, I can say that animated movies have also play an important role to woo the audience.
