In the list of some major Hollywood new releases, there is an upcoming Warner Brother film titled Ege of darkness. This film is the joint venture of GK films and Icon Productions and is directed by Martin Campbell. The star cast of this upcoming thriller includes Mel Gibson, Ray Winstone, Danny Hustone and Bojana NovaKovic. Edge of darkness is penned by the famous trio, William Monahan, Andrew Bovell and Troy Kennedy Martin.
The story starts by showcasing the life of a detective named Thomas Carven, who is engrossed in the investigation of his daughter's murder, who was an activist by profession. As the story unfolds, he is not only taking the charge of discovering the secrets of his life but is also involved in revealing the political conspiracies and his encounter with the corrupt system. The plot of this thriller is quite simple and it has a proper quotient of sensibility and entertainment. Alongside these ingredients, the movie seems to be a mixed blend of thrill and action and may comprise of some well placed pauses and twists to match a plot like such.
Since it is an adaptation of a TV show, it would definitely arouse a lot of keenness between the viewers those who have seen the TV version of the it. Another reason to watch this film is that all the action scenes have been shot aesthetically and on a much larger scale. Among all the Upcoming Hollywood movies, Edge of darkness has topped the list of the most anticipated Hollywood flicks. Along with a good storyline, huge canvas, believable performances, well defined backdrop, some stylized shots this movie offers a good package of thrill element in an unusual manner and may also be backed by a mature treatment.
This upcoming thriller is set to release on 28th January in UK and 29th January in US. Other than a good creative job showcased, Edge of darkness would also comprise of music and background score composed by Howard Shore, who is making a come back after his 2008 release The Betrayal. Along with Howard, Cinematographer Phil Mehuex and editor Stuart Bird might have done decent job as well.
